Destiny’s Child singer Kelly Rowland will swap the UK show, which she appeared on for one series in 2011, for the American version and sit with singer Demi Lovato and Mexican star Paulina Rubio.
They will join Cowell for the start of auditions in Charleston, South Carolina, today.
Rowland and Rubio replace Britney Spears and LA Reid on the new-look panel, in a bid to raise ratings.
It is the first time Cowell will be the only man on one of his TV talent panels – and insiders say he cannot wait.

A source said: “He is hoping the new panel will be a lot of fun. He will either play the three women off against each other or they will all gang up on him. Either way, expect fireworks.”
The original Charlie’s Angels was a US crime drama featuring Farrah Fawcett, Kate Jackson and Jaclyn Smith. It was made into a movie starring Cameron Diaz, Lucy Liu and Drew Barrymore in 2000.
Cowell jets back to London this weekend ready for the start of the Britain’s Got Talent live shows on Monday.
He is also expected to confirm the final line-up for the UK X Factor panel this week.
Louis Walsh has already signed up, Sharon Osbourne has agreed a deal and Gary Barlow and Nicole Scherzinger are both expected to sign on the dotted line in the next few days.
