SIMON COWELL is a busy man with a global empire to run... so he can’t sit about trying to ignite kindling to get a log fire going.

When he’s over in snowy Blighty, Simon has a special remote control that creates an instant roaring fire in his front room.

It’s one of many luxuries the talent show supremo has on tap at his swish London pad, which has vases filled with uniform white roses sat on seemingly every surface.

Presenter Will Best snoops around Cowell’s crib in a promo video for the mogul’s new online star search The You Generation.

The house is MODEST compared to his 11,550 sq ft Beverly Hills pile, which has a basement gym, a luxury spa and an indoor pool.

Even so, his lounge is pretty spic-and-span, with huge scented candles in glass vats and plumped cushions placed symmetrically in front of the massive flatscreen telly.

Across the hall, the dining room seats ten and has a Steinway grand piano.

With a little practice Simon could try his luck on Britain’s Got Talent.
