You were so sweet with the Contestants during Auditions
I think I'm the most sensitive Judge. I'm honest but also emphatic. I've been in the Contestants’ positions so I don’t like to be brutal. I take a softly-softly approach.
It must've felt weird to be sat in the hot seat this time round
Initially, it felt really alien to be sat behind that desk. I quickly got used to it. The Judges were lovely. Tulisa was really friendly and it was great to hang out with Louis again.
What about Gazza?
I have such a soft spot for Gary. I got on the best with him. He's such an astounding songwriter and person. I'll never forget performing with him as a Contestant on The X Factor – it was truly magical.
We swear we saw you blub at points during Auditions!
Yes, there were tears! I got so worked up and emotional when certain acts didn’t go through. You just wanted to give them a big hug.
